Autobiography              

I am the son of Toby and Debbie Carter of Dayton, Tennessee. Throughout high school I have held many leadership positions.  I  was the first person in Rhea County High School’s thirty-year history to have been elected class president each year.  I have been the wrestling team captain for 2 year and took 4th place in the TSSAA State Wrestling Tournament.  I am captain of the cross-country team and a member of the soccer team.  I am an FCA officer.  I am a member RCHS’s leadership class.  I was the Vice President of the National Honor Society.  I am a student leader of the LIFE club.  I was voted most school spirited boy for 3 years in high school.  I am a member of Students Taking A Right Stand (STARS).  I am part of the PLANET youth group.  Over the past two years, I have helped peer tutor in math.  I was a member of the high school flag staff.  Last summer I was an FCA camp huddle leader.  I am an AAU wrestling coach for kids as well as a youth bowling instructor.  I received the academic achievement award in JROTC.  In JROTC I have been a Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Company Commander, and Battalion Commander. SAI (Ret.) CW3 Lois Walling, AI SFC Roy Cheeks..  As Company Commander, I lead my company to win Company Competition as well as Honor Company.  I attended Boys’ State and was elected to be in the governor’s cabinet as Legal Council.  I was 1 of 6 students nominated for the Faculty Award.  I was nominated by Congressman Zach Wamp to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point.  I report in on June 26, 2006.
