As we travel through our Local Schools in our Great State when Oratorical Contest are going on and even when we are just visiting with our children or grandchildren to see their plays and graduations we should just stop and look at the Quotes that are put on the walls of the hallways.
Our State's Motto for this year "Legionnaires Pride" has come from one of the Largest schools in the state and comes with the greatest respect for us as

This is telling us that if we want the American Legion to excel that is our Personal Responsibility to step up and see that our members, YOUNG or OLD have been taken care of and not forgotten. It seems as the years go by we forget how we got started in the American Legion, so in Developing the Excellence we know as Legionnaires, we can make all of our POSTS Stronger.
As we go through the year let's take the PRIDE and push it from one member to another and recruit new members and keep the American Legion the #1 Veterans Organization in the country.
When we see the younger generation coming up through the ranks and become a veteran in our great Armed Forces fighting for the causes as we did, we can see that they have taken that first step in PRIDEl
