SUSPENDED - IF NOT PAID BY FEBRUARY 1, 2011 FORFEITED - IF NOT PAID BY JUNE 30, 2011 Important Point: Dues collected by an American Legion Post are for all three levels, Post, Department and National. A member's annual dues are not considered paid until paid at all three levels, thus the need| to transmit dues weekly to Department. Collecting a member's dues at Post level and failing to transmit Department and National Dues in a timely fashion is "illegal". Each Post must transmit $23.50 to Department: Department dues ($10.00) and National Membership ($13.50) dues. |
